James Gunn and Peter Safran to Lead DC Studios

According to The Hollywood Reporter, DC Comics and WB Discovery have found the two people set to lead DC’s films. James Gunn, known for The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker, will work alongside Peter Safran, who produced The Suicide Squad and Aquaman, at the new division called DC Studios. The division will see over DC’s film, TV, and animation efforts. Some projects though, like Todd Phillips’ Joker sequel, will not fall under their division.


The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special Trailer

Marvel released a trailer for their upcoming special presentation, The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special. The trailer shows Drax and Mantis on a special mission to give Star-Lord a very special Christmas, specifically by kidnapping Kevin Bacon. The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special will premiere on Disney+ on November 25.


Tales of the Jedi Premiere

Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi™ premieres today. These six new original shorts follow the origins of Ahsoka Tano™ and Count Dooku™ and even gives us brief time with Yaddle™, the only known member of Yoda‘s™ species other than Grogu™. Tales of the Jedi is on Disney+ now.


Star Wars: Andor New Episode

A new episode of Star Wars: Andor™ premieres today. This episode, titled “Narkina 5,” shows the Empire catching up to Cassian™, even though they’re not yet aware of his identity and his past. The eighth episode of Andor is on Disney+ now.
