Marvel Announces New Zodiac TV Series

Marvel Television revealed the logos for several new television series and specials in development. The first is Zodiac, a live-action spy thriller set to release in 2028, with no other details shared at the time. The next is a series of animated specials set in the Marvel Zombies universe, including The Winter Soldier in 2027, The Fist of Khonshu in 2028, and The Last Guardian in 2029. Finally, the second season of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man was announced with a premiere date of January 13, 2027 on Disney+.


Live-Action Cyberpunk 2077 Film in Development

According to Deadline, Paramount Pictures is currently developing a live-action Cyberpunk 2077 film based on the hit RPG. The film is said to be set in-world, but will likely not follow the exact plot of the CD Projekt Red video game. Lorenzo di Bonaventura is on board to produce the project, which has no other casting or release news at this time.


Horror Film Renew Wraps Filming

As reported by Deadline, the upcoming horror film Renew has just wrapped filming. This under-the-radar production is said to begin as a love story before becoming a suspense-driven, visceral horror. Actors Theo Rossi, Ron Perlman, and Rachelle Goulding all star in Renew, which does not yet have a release date.


Beat the Reaper Adds New Cast Members

According to Deadline, the upcoming Apple TV dramedy Beat the Reaper has announced two new recurring cast members in undisclosed roles. Actors Paul Schulze and Tony Macht are set to join the project, based on the novel of the same name about a medical intern at a hospital who is trying to avoid his checkered past. When a patient recognizes him, all hell breaks loose as hitmen and gangsters try to chase him down. Beat the Reaper currently does not have a premiere date.
