Deadline confirmed that Megan Thee Stallion is officially set to join the MCU. She will be starring as a client in a legal case handled by attorney Augustus “Pug” Pugliese. The next episode of Marvel‘s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law premieres on September 1 on Disney+.
Star Trek Film Loses Director
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the upcoming Star Trek film has lost its director. The original director, Matt Shakman, has recently been eyed to direct the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Fantastic Four. Due to his scheduling conflicts, he won’t be moving forward with the Star Trek film. While the film was originally scheduled to be released on December 22, 2023, it will likely be delayed.

The Hollywood Reporter shared an update about the new adaptation of the James O’Barr comic The Crow. Danny Huston has joined the cast in an undisclosed role. There is no further news about The Crow at this time.

Amazon released a new promo for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. The promo introduces Khazad-dûm, the Realm of the Dwarves in the Second Age. The first two episodes of The Rings of Power premieres on Amazon on September 2.
