WB released the first seven minutes of the Mortal Kombat Movie. The scene follows ninja warrior Hanzo Hasashi, when a rival clan attacks his family in feudal Japan. When Hanzo seeks vengeance, he finds himself in a bloody battle that leads him straight to Sub-Zero. Mortal Kombat will premiere in theaters and on HBO Max on April 23rd.

Sony has announced three new directors for their upcoming Into the Spider-Verse sequel. Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson will direct together. Into the Spider-Verse 2 will swing into theaters on October 7th, 2022.

Marvel’s Secret Invasion Casting

According to THR, Marvel is in talks with Olivia Colman for a role in their upcoming series Secret Invasion. While her role is undisclosed, she’d be working alongside Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury and Ben Mendelsohn’s Talos. There is no further news about Secret Invasion at this time.
