The first series as a part of this deal will be an animated series adaptation of Critical Role‘s the Mighty Nein TTRPG campaign. Originally, the movie, called The Boogeyman, was only set for a streaming release. The film follows “a 16-year-old and her younger sister, both still reeling from the death of their mother, who are targeted by a supernatural entity after their father, a psychologist, has an encounter with a desperate patient in their house.” The Boogeyman will hit theaters on June 2.
