Wednesday Season 2 Confirmed

Netflix has renewed one of its shows for a second season. Wednesday Addams and all of her mysteries will be returning. There is no release date for season 2 of Wednesday at this time.


Update on The Penguin Series

In an interview with Variety, Colin Farrell shared an update about The Penguin series, the spinoff from the world of Matt Reeves’ The Batman. He said, “I just thought it was the tip of the iceberg, pardon the pun, that we were getting to do the six or seven scenes in the film. I was grateful for them, but I wanted more.” There is no release date for DC Comics‘ Penguin series at this time.


Ridley Scott’s Gladiator Sequel

According to Deadline, Paul Mescal is in negotiations to star in Paramount’s Gladiator sequel. Ridley Scott would return to direct and produce. David Scarpa has penned the script. Costume designer Janty Yates and production designer Arthur Max will both be returning.  There is no further news about the Gladiator sequel at this time.


Tim Blake Nelson Joins Dune Sequel

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tim Blake Nelson has joined the cast of Legendary Entertainment’s Dune: Part Two. He’s been cast in an undisclosed role. Dune: Part Two will fly into theaters on November 3, 2023.
