What is Refer-a-Friend?

Refer-a-Friend benefits collectors who want to share their hobby with others. This referral program functions quite simply. Share a custom link with friends and family, and if they complete a purchase after clicking it, you’ll get Sideshow Rewards back. Rewards are essentially shopping credit that you can use toward your own future purchases.

How do I get Rewards?

Before this latest increase, anybody who referred a new or existing collector got 2% of that product price back as Sideshow Rewards. Now for a limited time, you get a whopping 5% back! Pretty amazing, right? If you want to learn how to do this, then you’ve come to the right place.

There are a couple ways to refer friends. One: You can share your custom referral link. Find and generate this link via the Refer-a-Friend area of your online account. An example is shown below, with the unique code blacked out for privacy purposes.

Two: You use the Share/Refer buttons shown throughout our site. Most often you’ll see this option on a product page.

What’s next?

Then, copy and paste that link to social media. Send it via DM, text it, email it, whatever! The choice is yours. Share that link far and wide to both your IRL and online collecting besties. Remember, you can refer as many friends as you want for any qualifying items you want, but you can only benefit from one referral purchase per person.

Earning Rewards

Completed referrals equal 5% of the product price after any applied discounts. The product price does not include sales tax or ship costs. For example, if you refer a $500 item to a friend who then buys it, $25 in Sideshow Rewards are added to your account upon completed purchase. Your friend also earns the standard Rewards in their account for their order, making it a win for everyone!

Referral Rewards will be added to your account 40 days after the referred, completed order ships. We’ll send you a celebration email when that happens. You can also opt out of receiving these emails if you’d prefer.

Terms & Conditions

As always, there’s some guidelines to which you’ll need to adhere. You can look at the full limitations list in our Help Center, or read through some of the major rules below.

• Only customers 18 years or older are eligible.
• You must have an active Sideshow online account or set one up during the sharing process.
• The person you refer must have a Sideshow online account and complete an order within 2 days of the referral. Sorry, but guest accounts don’t count.
• Refer as many friends as you would like, one time each. Time to go make lots of friends!
• Rewards are only earned on referrals from In-Stock and Pre-Order items. Rewards cannot be earned on Wait List or Sold Out items.
