Spooktacular 2022: Ser Sideshow & The Phoney Phantoms Game

Ser Sideshow returns! And this time, the beloved platformer game is going mobile. Phoney Phantoms will be available this Spooktacular as an app. Starting Monday, October 24, you can play as the nonbinary knight Ser Sideshow while they dodge evil minions and defeat the Scarlett Sentry — all in the spooky season spirit!

Ser Sideshow

Ser Sideshow was created way back in 2020 during our video game-centric Level Up! event. The little nonbinary knight fights with their helmet feather. They’ve traveled from 2D to 3D, from lakeside castles to dark dungeons. They’ve also battled many foes, and have finally made it to their next haunted adventure.

Phoney Phantoms

In Phoney Phantoms, you’ll take control of the brave knight Ser Sideshow. This time around, they are tasked with fighting against the Scarlett Sentry’s evil minions. Ser Sideshow uses their quick reflexes and super-powered feather to get the job done.

If you’re brave enough, you can even fight against endless hordes of phantoms in freeplay mode. Once there, you can try to achieve the highest score on an old-school three character scoreboard. You’ll also be able to share and compare your score on social media!

I’m in. How do I download Phoney Phantoms?

Phoney Phantoms will be available in Apple’s App store as well the Google Play store. Visit side.show/game to play previous Ser Sideshow games. Then, starting October 24, visit that same webpage to get the quick link for your mobile device. From there you will download the game like any other app.

Cool, done. How do I play?

Unlike other Ser Sideshow games, you won’t be running across a platform. This time, you’ll stand your ground against on onslaught of three different phantom types. Each type has a different requirement for beating it. Additionally, big bosses await in a few levels, and they have a lot more health!
