Disney’s Iwájú Official Trailer

Disney released the first official trailer for Iwájú. The original animated series is, “set in a futuristic Lagos, Nigeria. The exciting coming-of-age story follows Tola, a young girl from the wealthy island, and her best friend, Kole, a self-taught tech expert, as they discover the secrets and dangers hidden in their different worlds.” All episodes of Iwájú will premiere on Disney+ on February 28.

Microsoft Flight Simulator – Dune Expansion

Legendary Pictures, WB Discovery, and Microsoft’s Xbox released the Dune Expansion Trailer for the Microsoft Flight Simulator – Dune Expansion. “For the first time ever, Microsoft Flight Simulator is taking you beyond Planet Earth into the harsh deserts of the world of “Dune” and the planet Arrakis. Aviators can put their courage and skills to the test in the cockpit of the Royal Atreides Ornithopter, mastering tutorials, time trials, and a daring rescue mission.” Microsoft Flight Simulator – Dune Expansion is available on XBox and PC now.

Masters of the Universe Live-Action Gets Director

According to Deadline, Travis Knight is in the final negotiations to direct a live-action adaptation of Masters of the Universe for Mattel, Amazon MGM is also in negotiations for rights to the film. This project has been in development for some time, and it’s gone through a few directors already, but currently, it seems that Knight may be the official studio choice. There is no further news about the live-action Masters of the Universe film at this time.

Chainsaw Man Creator’s Next Anime Film

Tatsuki Fujimoto is most well-known for creating the manga Chainsaw Man. The anime adaptation of Chainsaw Man has been an overwhelming success, and it’s even going to get an anime film adaptation. The exciting news, however, is that Fujimoto’s other manga, Look Back, is also set to get an anime film adaptation. The film is directed by Kiyotaka Oshiyama. Oshiyama also penned the script and designed characters. Look Back will premiere in japan on June 28, 2024.
