Nintendo shared an update about The Super Mario Bros. Movie trailer. They confirmed that the second trailer will premiere on November 29 at 2 PM PT. The Super Mario Bros. Movie will jump into theaters on April 7, 2023.

Sony shared a new image from Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. The image shows Miles Morales in a puffy jacket with his parents looking over his shoulder. There is no further news about Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse at this time.

According to Deadline, Diane Ademu-John has stepped down as showrunner of HBO Max’s Dune: The Sisterhood. Ademu-John was the series creator and writer, and while she’ll no longer be a co-showrunner, she’ll remain involved as an executive producer of the series. Alison Schapker, known for exeuctive producing on Westworld, and co-showrunning Netflix’s Altered Carbon, will serve as the sole showrunner for the project.

Legendary Entertainment has entered into a film distribution partnership with Sony, and cut most of their ties with WB Discovery. Sony will now market and distribute Legendary’s pictures, but Legendary is still set to work with WB Discovery on the release of projects involving the Dune and Godzilla IPs. There is no further news about Legendary Entertainment at this time.
