Amazon Prime has officially acquired three new DC Comics animated projects. The first is Merry Little Batman, “an animated family action comedy that follows young Damian Wayne as he finds himself alone in Wayne Manor on Christmas Eve transforming into ‘Little Batman’ in order to defend his home and Gotham City from the crooks and supervillains intent on destroying the holidays.” There will be a spinoff series from that movie called Bat-Family, which will follow Bruce, Alfred, and Damian, as well as other members of the famed super hero team. Finally, Amazon has confirmed a two-season order for Batman: Caped Crusader.
Disney’s Wish Teaser
Disney shared the first official teaser trailer for their upcoming animated film Wish. In the film, “Asha, a sharp-witted idealist, makes a wish so powerful that it is answered by a cosmic force—a little ball of boundless energy called Star. Together, Asha and Star confront a most formidable foe—the ruler of Rosas, King Magnifico—to save her community and prove that when the will of one courageous human connects with the magic of the stars, wondrous things can happen.” Wish will fly into theaters on November 22.
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Trailer
Paramount Pictures shared an official trailer for Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. The trailer promises that a planet-eating being named Unicron is coming to Earth. The Transformers and the Maximals will work together when Transformers: Rise of the Beasts hits theaters on June 9.

Yesterday was Alien Day. To celebrate, director Fede Álvarez shared an update about the upcoming Alien film. He confirmed that production has officially begun. There is no release date for the new Alien film at this time.
