New LOTR Films WB Discovery and New Line Cinema have made a deal with Embracer Group AB’s Middle-earth Enterprise to create new Lord of the Rings films. While no specific filmmakers are set to work on the projects, in a statement to Variety, director Peter Jackson and his main Lord of the Rings collaborators Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens said Warner Bros. and Embracer “have kept us in the loop every step of the way.” There is no further news about the new Lord of the Rings films at this time. The Power Official Trailer Amazon shared a trailer for The Power, a new series based on Naomi Alderman’s international award-winning novel.
