Morfydd Clark shared an update about her character in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. She confirmed that Galadriel will be receiving Nenya, the Ring of Water, in the second season. This is one of the three rings that Elves received in the Second Age.

Paramount was initially collaborating with Amazon to make a G.I. Joe series following the character Lady Jaye. In an interview with Collider, producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura (Transformers: Rise of the Beasts) shared an update about the project. While the Amazon series has been scrapped, they did create a pilot. Di Bonaventura explained that they’re using the pilot to inform and inspire a film. There is no further news about the potential Lady Jaye film at this time.
Jonathan Groff Joins Doctor Who

Doctor Who has added Jonathan Groff to the cast. Groff is best known for voicing Kristoff in Disney’s Frozen and playing King George in Hamilton. There is no further news about Doctor Who at this time.
Oppenheimer Trailer
Universal shared a new trailer for Christopher Nolan’s upcoming biopic Oppenheimer. The film stars Cillian Murphy as J. Robert Oppenheimer and Emily Blunt as his wife, biologist and botanist Katherine “Kitty” Oppenheimer. The film also features Matt Damon as General Leslie Groves Jr., director of the Manhattan Project, and Robert Downey Jr. as Lewis Strauss, a founding commissioner of the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission. Oppenheimer blasts into theaters on July 21.
