Star Trek: Section 31 Film

Paramount is set to create a new Star Trek film. Michelle Yeoh will return as Emperor Philippa Georgiou, a character she first played in Star Trek: Discovery’s first season. She’ll be returning in Paramount’s upcoming film Star Trek: Section 31. Production on the film will begin later this year.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always Premiere

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always premieres today. In the film, “the Rangers come face-to-face with a familiar threat from the past. In the midst of a global crisis, they are called on once again to be the heroes the world needs.” Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always is on Netflix now.

Galaxy Quest TV Series

Paramount+ is set to make a Galaxy Quest TV series. Mark Johnson, who executive produced the 1999 film, will return to write for the series. The sci-fi comedy film told the story of “the cast of a cult classic sci-fi show who are shocked to learn that aliens from a distant galaxy have not only seen the show, but think it is real. They are recruited by the aliens to assist in a real interstellar conflict.” There is no further news about Galaxy Quest at this time.

Star Wars: The Mandalorian Finale

Lucasfilm released the season 3 finale of Star Wars: The Mandalorian™. This episode, titled “The Return,” sees The Mandalorian™ and his allies confront their enemies. Chapter 24 of The Mandalorian is on Disney+ now.
