James Gunn shared an update about the upcoming DC Comics film Superman: Legacy. Gunn confirmed that early pre-production has officially begun, with “costumes, production design, and more now up and running.” Superman: Legacy flies into theaters on July 11, 2025.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kahiau Machado is set to join Disney‘s live-action Lilo & Stitch. Machado is set to portray the surfer David Kawena, Nani’s romantic interest. Lilo & Stitch has no release date at this time.

Lucasfilm shared new posters for their series Star Wars: The Mandalorian™. The posters feature Grogu™ piloting IG-12™ and the Praetorian Guards™. The season 3 finale of The Mandalorian premieres on Disney+ on April 19.

Producer Todd Garner shared an update about the Mortal Kombat sequel film. He confirmed news about production. Mortal Kombat 2 will begin filming this June and wrap production in September.
