Rise of the Reaper General and The War of Flesh and Bone- Court of the Dead Day 2021 Publishing Reveals

All day long on Friday, February 19th, the Underworld is taking over the Mortal Realm in celebration of Court of the Dead Day! This macabre tribute to Sideshow’s original dark fantasy/horror world in bringing you giveaways, deals, livestream content, and more.

For fans eager to follow the latest Court of the Dead publishing news, the Alive from the Underworld stream has just revealed the covers and more information to two new books coming soon to further explore the Underworld lore.

Rise of the Reaper General Novel

The first of these is the highly anticipated novel Court of the Dead: Rise of the Reaper General. This epic 480-page prose tale follows the legendary afterlife of Demithyle, one of the Alltaker’s most trusted allies and one of the greatest heroes the Underworld has ever known.

With beautiful original illustrations by artist Rachel Roubicek and a compelling narrative by Beatrice Van Slee and Tom Gilliland, horror fantasy fans will not want to miss this release. The War of Flesh and Bone Graphic Novel

The second new publishing reveal is the next graphic novel in the Court of the Dead pantheon: The War of Flesh and Bone. This full-color comic narrative examines the internal Underworld struggle between the Factions of Flesh and Bone.

Featuring fan-favorite characters like Odium and Mortighull, this incredible tale by Frank Tieri and Ivan Koritarev (artist of Court of the Dead: Shadows of the Underworld) provides even more insight into the struggles that the Alltaker and his allies face within their own ranks.
