It’s all quite marvelous, isn’t it? Of course I saved the best for last. Marvel Studios brought more than doom to Hall H at SDCC. Attendees watched exclusive footage from Avengers: Doomsday, but the rest of the world learned more about what’s on the horizon for the MCU. For starters, VisionQuest, the upcoming miniseries starring Paul Bettany as Vision, will premiere on Oct. 14, 2026.

Additionally, Hayley Atwell will reprise her fan-favorite role as Peggy Carter in Doomsday, and I can’t wait to watch her inevitable scenes with Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers.
In a bombshell announcement, David Jonsson, who fans might know from The Long Walk and Industry, will take up the Black Panther mantle in Black Panther 3 alongside Letitia Wright’s Shuri. Jonsson will step into the role of the late T’Challa’s son, who was introduced as a child in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
