Spooktacular 2020 Mystery Game- Let Your Geek Sideshow Facebook Group

It’s Spooktacular, and you know what that means- another strange event has taken place in the Let Your Geek Sideshow Facebook Group, and we need your help to solve the mystery!

Members of the Sideshow C.S.I. (Collector Spooktacular Investigators) will be asked to participate during Spooktacular to help crack this classic ‘Whodunnit?’. One of the group moderators is guilty of stealing the Hot Toys Thanos Sixth Scale Scale Figure from Sideshow HQ, and now it’s up to you, the greatest detectives, to figure out the correct culprit.

Every day throughout Spooktacular 2020, the LYGSS team will release clues and information to help you crack this case and accuse the proper prime suspect from the list of group moderators. Each bit of information and each clue will lead up to Halloween (October 31), when you’ll get a chance to accuse your suspect. However, you’ll only get ONE chance to accuse who YOU think is the culprit, so choose wisely. You also must be a member of the Let Your Geek Sideshow official group in order to participate, so your detective search starts there.

This sounds like a lot of fun, right? You’ll be able to find more rules, regulations, and guidelines on the official Detective Game post. For now, let’s take a look at the timeline for the event.

The contest starts on October 22nd at 6am PT and ends on October 31st at 11:59pm PT. There will be one post per day, each day throughout the Spooktacular event so you can gather your clues.

Day 1 – October 22nd

The first post will go up detailing the official rules, in-depth information, prize, and everything else you need to start searching.

Day 2 – October 23rd

This is the exciting one! Post #2 gives you the Mod Suspect Profiles. Get to know your group mods and admins, and get to suspecting each and every one of them for their heinous crimes…

Day 3 – October 24th

Post #3 is your first clue! Use it well.

Day 4 – October 25th

Another dawn, another clue, another day closer to finding the truth.

Day 5 – October 26th

Some of you may be sure of the culprit by this clue, but watch out for clever curveballs.

Day 6 – October 27th

Put this clue in your pipe and smoke it!

Day 7 – October 28th

Clue, clues, and more clues! It’s like you just can’t get enough.

Day 8 – October 29th

The day has come to interrogate the suspects! On Post #8, we will begin Suspect Questioning, where group members can participate in a high-stakes Q&A.

Day 9 – October 30th

YOUR FINAL CLUE! Is your heart racing yet?

Day 10 – October 31st

Post #10 is the Wrap Up and Official Entry Guessing Post. You will be able to make your FINAL and ONLY guess as to who the culprit is on this post. Good luck!
